Introduction

The MR100 Mosquito Repeller utilizes multi-functional electronic waves to repel mosquitoes.  It generates automatic scanning ultrasonic waves to interfere with mosquitoes’ activities, causing them to feel discomfort and fly away. Although female mosquitoes do not usually target human blood, they do rely on human blood to provide essential nutrients during pregnancy. To avoid multiple mating during pregnancy, female mosquitoes fly away upon hearing the sound of male mosquitoes. Furthermore, dragonflies are a mosquito’s natural enemy, for they eat all sorts of male and female mosquitoes. As a result, mosquitoes also escape when they hear the sound of dragonfly wings fluttering.

This device generates the following electronic signals - sweeping ultrasound frequencies to disturb male and female mosquitoes in general, sweeping audio frequencies (mimicking male mosquitoes), and very low audio frequencies (mimicking dragonflies). All functions can be controlled independently. They can be used separately, used at the same time, or used in combination. The device can also adjust its volume based on whether it is being used indoors or outdoors. In addition, there is a purple light which can be switched on when a room is in total darkness. Mosquitoes will be attracted to the light and consequently repelled, instead of being attracted to warm human breath.

As a result, this device is superior to other mosquito repellent devices currently on the market, because its 4 main functions all can be freely arranged and organized into different frequency combinations, allowing it to target thousands of mosquito varieties. Its effectiveness has been widely tested and appraised in many countries.

How to install the batteries

When the batteries are used up, please follow the instructions below to change the two AA alkaline batteries

1. First open one battery cover
2. Insert a new battery in accordance with the +/- signs marked at the base of the device.
3. Using the diagram below as a guide, replace the battery cap by aligning the black dot(s) on the cap with the dot(s) labeled “1”

    4.Twist the cap in the direction of the arrow until the dot(s) align with the dot(s) marked “2”

    5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the other battery

    6.When taking out the battery, twist the cap in the opposite direction. (Caution: If twisted in the wrong direction, the groove inside the battery cap may break, and the entire outer shell will be damaged.)

User guidelines

There exist over a thousand mosquito varieties. The most effective mosquito repelling combinations are “supersonic + male mosquito sound” (for indoor use) or “supersonic + dragonfly sound” (for outdoor use), and not all three at once. When sleeping at night in pitch darkness (with no lights be on), you can switch on the guiding light. In total blackness, mosquitoes are drawn to the CO2 in warm human breath. The guiding light on the device attracts mosquitoes to the device, and then repels them. The guiding light can also be used to check the power source. However, do not turn the light on in normal circumstances, as it will attract mosquitoes.
When using the device indoors, a window or a door must be open in order to provide the mosquitoes with an escape route (only shut the window or door when it appears that all mosquitoes have been repelled).

• This unit must be used with either two AA alkaline batteries or with the switching mode power supply which is an optional extra from the supplier. Never use un-regulated AC/DC adaptor with higher rating than 3V D.C 100mA.
