Negative ions are considered the “vitamin of the air”. Molecules usually carry a neutral charge; however, when molecules lose an electron, they become anions (negatively charged ions). There are five items in the gift-box:

• The unit with an attached neck strap
• The mounting base 
• 2×AA alkaline batteries
• Switching mode power adaptor or AC/DC linear adaptor
• The instruction manual

How to install the batteries:

When the batteries are used up, please follow the instructions below to change the two AA alkaline batteries 
1. First open one battery cover
2. Insert a new battery in accordance with the +/- signs marked at the base of the device.
3. Using the diagram below as a guide, replace the battery cap by aligning the black dot(s) on the cap with the dot(s) labeled “1”
1. Twist the cap in the direction of the arrow until the dot(s) align with the dot(s) marked “2”
2. Repeat steps 1-4 for the other battery
When taking out the battery, twist the cap in the opposite direction. (Caution: If twisted in the wrong direction, the groove inside the battery cap may break, and the entire outer shell will be damaged.)

Operation:

After fitting the batteries, press the ON/OFF button to switch ON the unit, as indicated by a flashing neon lightand the production of static wind at the output holes. Hold the button for about 2 seconds to switch the unit 

OFF.

A set of batteries should last for about 20 hours of use. When the speed of the flashing neon slows down, the batteries should be replaced.

In addition to outdoor use, it is recommended the unit be used indoors with the AC/DC adaptor supplied. 

Important:

This unit must be used with either two AA alkaline batteries or with the switching mode power supply which  is an optional extra from the supplier. Never use unregulated AC/DC adaptor with higher rating than 3V D.C 100mA.

Do not attempt to open up the device and repair it yourself.

Do not use in wet environment.
